Privacy Policy
Day Glance Pro is private by design. Almost nothing ever leaves your device.
Last updated: July 2026
What Day Glance Pro accesses on your device
To show you your day, Day Glance Pro reads the following directly on your device, only after you grant permission. This information is used to build the widget and in-app views and is never transmitted off your device:
- Calendar & Events — to display your meetings, timelines and countdowns.
- Reminders — to show what’s due and let you check items off.
- Contacts — if allowed, to show attendee names and photos on meetings.
- Apple Health — optional; if allowed, to show your activity rings, steps and last night’s sleep score.
- Notifications — if allowed, for briefings, "leave now" alerts and meeting alarms.
The one thing that leaves your device: location for weather
If you enable weather, Day Glance Pro sends your approximate coordinates to Open-Meteo, a free weather service, to retrieve your local forecast. This request is used only to fetch weather. It is not tied to your name, an account, or any identifier, and it is not used to track you or serve ads. If you’d rather not share location, you can leave Location access off — the app simply won’t show weather.
Open-Meteo processes the request under its own privacy practices. Day Glance Pro does not maintain any server that stores your data.
What Day Glance Pro does not do
- No account, no sign-in, no profile.
- No advertising and no ad networks.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs that follow you across apps or websites.
- No selling or sharing of personal data — because none of it is collected in the first place.
Purchases
Day Glance Pro is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Payments, subscriptions and receipts are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. Day Glance Pro receives only what it needs to unlock its paid features on your device and does not see your payment details.
Children
Day Glance Pro is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content. Because the app collects no personal data, it does not knowingly gather information from children or anyone else.
Your control
You can grant or revoke Calendar, Reminders, Contacts, Health, Location and Notification permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security. Revoking a permission simply hides the related content. Deleting the app removes everything Day Glance Pro stored on your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page will change too. Material changes will be reflected here.
